Wow. Where did 2017 go? It seems like yesterday when we were all complaining of the Georgia heat and deciding on which beach we would visit. The old saying “time is flying” is no joke. It is!
You know, for over 45 years, Stewart Clinic Chiropractic Group has inherited over 16000 New Year’s resolutions. Well, that’s how many patients we’ve taken care of and I’m sure we all from time to time create something in the New Year that we want to improve upon, change or quit. Have you given 2018 some thought yet? If you’re like most of us, you’ve punished yourself since Thanksgiving and have scoured your closet for the “stretchy pants.” So, maybe you are resolving to ease up on the sweets, exercise a little more and double down on enjoying the remainder of your 29200 days………… Wait, what? Yep, I said it. IF you are lucky enough to live to 80 years (current life expectancy is 78.74 years), that is only 29200 days. That’s not a lot!
As I write this, I have burned up about 17,795 of my own! Talk about humbling………Which brings me to my point. 2018 will comprise 365 of your precious, irreplaceable, nontransferable days. What are you going to do that really carves some deep grooves in the fabric of your memory this year? Travel some place you’ve always wanted to go, learn to sing, dance, fly, scuba dive, write your novel? I hope that you give serious consideration to doing something Big! To give you a little bump in the right direction, let me recommend a book to you. It’s called the 10X Rule by Grant Cardone. It’s a few years old and can be found on online even as an audio. In it, there are some powerful thoughts to really help you explore the best 2018 possible.
